Volaris considera que, a esta fecha, no existen las condiciones para otorgar certeza a los clientes del reinicio de operaciones de los aeropuertos, regiones y países autorizados desde dónde volar y los condicionantes necesarios para viajar al costo que nuestra aerolínea siempre lo ha hecho. La operación de Volaris se apoya en los flujos de pasajeros de los países centroamericanos desde y hacia México y EEUU para darle viabilidad económica a sus operaciones.

La perspectiva más importante es que nuestros clientes merecen la seriedad del compromiso de la aerolínea, teniendo seguridad sobre sus reservaciones y fechas de vuelo. La empresa analiza en forma conjunta con las autoridades de la región, las fechas de apertura y las condiciones, y mantendremos informados a nuestros clientes en cuanto podamos vender con certeza nuestros itinerarios. La fecha que consideramos más segura será alrededor del 1 de diciembre del 2020.

Sin embargo, Volaris se mantiene abierta a continuar apoyando los flujos migratorios y coordinando con los consulados en Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, México y EEUU si hay necesidades prioritarias a ser cubiertas en este período y estamos abiertos a apoyar en operaciones de rescate humanitario, como lo estamos haciendo esa semana. En el ínterin, congelaremos los costos variables, reduciremos al máximo los fijos y protegeremos la situación de efectivo de Volaris Costa Rica.
